Perspective-Based Virtual Reality Puzzle game
This project was created for a class called Virtual Reality and 3D Interaction. The game consists of simple environments in which the player must position themselves in the correct location to be able to view the image projected into the scene. This mechanic was inspired by the art of Felice Varini and games like The Witness. When the player is able to view the puzzle they can then find the correct solution within the level to progress in the game. A more formal write-up can be found below.
Literature Review: Applications of Augmented reality to navigation
This was a literature review researched and written also for the Virtual Reality and 3D Interaction class. It discusses the applications of augmented reality to navigation technologies.
meta-Genetic N-Queens Experiment
This experiment was performed as part of an Introduction to Artificial Intelligence class. The goal of the experiment was to use a Genetic Algorithm to solve the N-Queens problem, and then to use another Genetic Algorithm to optimize the parameters of the first. The experiment is discussed in detail below.
Raspberry pi shell server and light controller
This is an ongoing personal project to make use of a Rasperry Pi computer. The Rasbperry Pi has been configured so it can be connected to using an SSH connection. A shell script that runs when logging in prompts user interaction based on the character FailSafe from the game Destiny 2. The Raspberry Pi has been connected to a set of LED lights using some Mosfet Chips so the lights can be controlled through the script using a Python library. The script also will allow the user to play various text-based command line games and contains various other easter eggs like the ASCII Star Wars: a New Hope, and various interactions between FailSafe and other AI characters from pop culture.
